April Newsletter 2021

The Anything and Everything Monthly News Letter

Another month gone, another month closer to summer. Zooms are getting unbearable because there is only so much screen time someone can handle and I have hit my limit. That is why I am writing this blog post on a large piece of stone with a carving pick to then give my bookie who will transfer it to the computer box for all you lovely people out there. March was a pretty low-key month which means lots of movies were watched lots of songs were listened to and lots of episodes of Rupaul’s Drag Race where rigged so lets just rip this newsletter off like a band-aid.

*Give Anything and Everything a little at home round of applause for learning how to use the actual heading setting instead of just making the headings bigger fonts and making it italic! Now they are bright orange AND still big and written in italics*

What I watched over the last month that you SHOULD NOT watch

  • Cannibal Holocaust mini review

One of the grossest movies I have absolutely every seen. The whole idea was that these stupid ass kids went to go shove cameras in the faces of cannibal tribes that lived in the Amazon Rainforest and after the don’t come back, their professor that encouraged them to take the trip ALSO goes to the Rainforest where he finds the footage left behind from his students ‘crazy’ adventure. It is just the most disturbing movie I have ever seen; there was lots of blood, rape and just too many things to even explain. The thing that really got me was that throughout this movie, there are multiple deaths of animals…ALL OF THEM WERE REAL AND VERY GRAPHIC! And not only was this movie gross and disturbing, it was slow and boring and just…icky. The movie has been banned in a shit ton of countries and the director was taken to court because people thought he actually brought the actors to the Rainforest and slaughtered them; that is how real this movie is. The only good thing was the soundtrack; it actually slapped pretty hard if I’m gonna be honest. If you are adventurous go check it out but warning…it is not for the children, the queasy, people over 95-years-old and women who are pregnant or are trying to get pregnant.
