2020 Unwind!

We are officially living in 2021 and it already feels better! 2020 was the year of the couch potato and we are all guilty of that! During 2020, I watched, read and listened more than I have ever before! It is time to unwind my year with you guys so buckle up because this post is gonna be a doozy!

I listen to music all the time but this year I think I went to new height on the way I listen to music. Here is my year in music!

  • Top Song of the year: The One by The Lemon Twigs (Streamed 107 times)
  • Other top songs of the year: Closer to the Heart, Rush. Ruling Me, Weezer. Smart Girls, Weezer. The end of the Game, Weezer

Movies have the abilities to take you somewhere else, live in a different time and see life from someone else’s perspective. I have been a movie nerd my whole life and I watched so many movies this year that I came across some good ones…and some not so good one. With this year being as crazy as it was, I didn’t get to see a lot of new movies so for the following lists, these movies are not all from 2020 but were just things I watched throughout the year (most of them for the first time)

Letterboxd year in review

Letterboxd is this really cool app my uncle showed me where you can create lists of movies you want to see or have seen and then you can either just keep them all logged and rate them or you can write reviews on them. It also allows you to connect with other people and read their reviews on the films they have been watching. This year they hopped on the bandwagon and gave me my Year in Film.

Most kids nowadays are addicted to things like weed, alcohol, sex and cocaine…the normal kids stuff. But I am no normal kid so for as long as I can remember, I have been getting high off the TV. I love watching TV during the day, at night and I even need to have the TV on to sleep! Over the years, TV has advanced to streaming sites and constant reruns and now it is easier than ever for me to get my fix!

Notice, it just said podcast; just one of them. I do not like podcasts whatsoever but this year I found one that I really ended up enjoying and I listen to it every week. So even though there is only one, I think it is still relevant to talk about.

Conan Needs A Friend

Conan Needs A Friend is obviously Conan’s podcast and it is absolutely hilarious. Not only is Conan super funny to listen to but he is not afraid to pick apart his guests brains. I have really been enjoying to hear about the lives of my favorite actors and comedians while I clean my grandparents house; makes all the spider webs a little less gross.

Top 5 Guests on Conan Needs A Friend

  • Mike Myers
  • Martin Short
  • Bill Hader
  • John Mulaney
  • Kristin Chenoweth
