Okay I don’t want to start any heat but…. this movies wasn’t that bad! So this movie was only in theaters for a solid like 2 weeks because it was doing so freaking bad. The movie ended up get 11% on Rotten Tomatoes and 1/5 on Common Sense Media; so not super well but this was still a movie I just knew I had to see this!

So the plot line…gonna be honest wasn’t the best but in a movie like this the plot didn’t need to be fully there because it was so damn funny. The acting was pretty bad but I feel like that just made this movie better and added to the humor. Ya overall this movie was so damn funny and that it really all I have to say about the movie as a whole.

Now one thing we need to touch some base on is the soundtrack of this movie. This movie took place in the early 1900s and the whole soundtrack was like hip-hop and rap. It made me angry but like somehow also worked for all the ‘gangster’ things that were happening to Holmes and Watson. Another song from the soundtrack is the stupid song from Ghost when they are doing pottery. Like….the have this icon love song from the the 1960s playing in a crappy detective movie when they ‘romantically’ scrap cake off of a dead body that takes place in the early 1900s is just a lot. Finally the best banger from the soundtrack was that song that Ferrell and Riley sang to each other. It was so catchy and I sang it all day. This song was acually super sweet and after this I texted Nancy with a Z and was just like DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU??!! And she was just like ya whatever BUT STILL! I had some true emotions from this movie!! Thank you Mr. Cohen!

Overall I thought this movie was good, it was pretty funny and I felt some hard core emotions dead ass! I would give this like 6/10. So not like amazing but I would watch it again and honestly buy it on DVD, so that is a thick good in my book!
